Michael’s career in real estate began in 1992 when he started practicing law at a boutique real estate, land use and general practice law firm in Northwest, Connecticut where his principal areas of focus included transactions, development and land conservation matters. In the mid 1990’s Michael began investing and managing real estate and has acted as a principal, general counsel and/or asset manager in a range of real estate investment development initiatives.

Michael received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut in 1989 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Bridgeport in 1992.  He is a founding member of the Pan African Conservation Trust (now a part of Tusk Trust, www.tusk.org ), a former Director and Chairman of the Litchfield Land Trust and former Chairman of the Town of Litchfield Board of Ethics in Litchfield, Connecticut.  He currently resides in Morris, Connecticut where he is the founding member of the Morris Land Trust and has served on the Town’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
